On Saturday June 5th at 4pm the Carantouan Greenway will investigate its vernal pool at its Wildwood Reserve in the Town of Barton. Vernal pools are isolated temporary pools of water where frogs and salamanders get a chance to reproduce without the fear of fish predators. The QUESTION is did we have any success in attracting any wood frogs or spotted salamanders to the pool. The public is invited to join in the hunt for the creatures of the pool.
