The Carantouan Greenway will celebrate EARTH DAY (April 22) at 2 pm with the unveiling of the master sign of 5 birch species on a short section of trail at its Wildwood Reserve in the Town of Barton. The signage was created by graphic artist Sue Williams via a grant from the Floyd Hooker Youth Fund facilitated by the Community Foundation for the Twin Tiers. Following the presentation on the 5 native birches there will be a short tree walk for participants. Pictured is one of the 5 individual identifying signs.
