What we share is what holds us together...
- We value our precious Chemung and Susquehanna Rivers.
- We value our ground water because it is our drinking water.
- We believe in the value of fish and wildlife, and are concerned for its future.
- We believe in the best wildlife management practices and support habitat conservation.
- We are committed to education and in bringing people together to find agreeable solutions.
- We believe in the sense of family, the strength of belonging, and sharing a common purpose.
- We believe we have a responsibility to leave behind a better environment than we inherited.

CARANTOUAN GREENWAY is but one strand of a bow string. The string is composed of supporting individuals and organizations who target the Valley's quality of life as worthy of their time, effort, and resources.
Clean water, crisp breathable air, wild flowers, and bird song are all too often taken for granted.
Each of us should take an active role in protecting our natural resources and cultural resources. We recognize that our greatest asset is our human resource, and so we ask you to consider adding another strand to our bow string.
